Tacos Dorados Birria

I was really looking forward to trying vegan birria tacos and these were good. They didn’t completely meet my expectations since it didn’t seem like there was that much filled in the tacos, plus there was no sauce to dip it in. This is gonna sound bad but they lowkey reminded me of jack in the box tacos (keep in mind I used to LOVE jack in the box tacos), except spicier. Don’t know if i’d buy them again I’d rather just order the regular tacos, but definitely don’t regret trying them out!

There's no description of this deliciousness on the menu* to share, but GET THESE. It's three fried (hard shell) tacos with a delicious saucy filling of "birria" -- I won't tell you what that is, if you don't already know, but I've never seen vegan birria anywhere and whoa f&%#. Nine bucks. The only negative is that there aren't four, because that would be better for my husband and I to share. I really can't say enough nice things about this place and the fact that it's 1.4 miles from my house makes it even better. * The menu doesn't really exist online except inside on the wall, and in pictures on Yelp, so that doesn't help anyone at all. And they don't take phone or online orders so you have to suffer for your takeout.
