🍮🇬🇧I sold Chelsea and this place so well my partner wanted to come the next weekend. He couldn’t resist trying this #stickytoffee #pudding and I was totally game. The pudding was nice and no sultanas. The cream was like a squirty cream or whipped cream which was a new one for us. Normally this is served with custard or my partner prefers that. The #toffee sauce was at the bottom and I agreed it was too minimal and really should be poured over the top so it’s drowning in the golden molten lava. 🌋
We were here at about 4pm on a Sunday and got to enjoy the quiet luxury of the upstairs dining room mostly to ourselves while it was busy and bustling downstairs and outside. I was gobsmacked that the dessert prices had all increased since the weekend before by 30p. This was £8.25. It’s crazy posh around this neighbourhood and we’d just come from Farmacy in Notting Hill where the desserts were almost all double the price.
