Sticky Cauliflower

Bonne entrée. Facile à partager. Très croustillante

Got to give this five stars for nutrition because, as far as #tempura style #deepfried things go, this felt really healthy and ungreasy. The best part was that they achieved this not at the expense of flavour/taste, as the #cauliflower florets complemented the light spicing of the batter, and the whole thing was compliant enough in combination with the sweet-savoury #tamarind dip (from where the sticky in the name comes 😉) This was shared among two people as a #starter, and was just the right portion size. If anything a touch too generous 🙂 #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease, but less grease may or may not equate to less sweet 🧐

I love cauliflower and this was a knockout. Crispy tempura fried with a sticky tamarind dip. And you even get to tick one of the daily dozen! This place was awesome and I hope I get to go back. They have a lunch for 10.95 with a soft drink and choice of three mains, the katsu curry, a Texmex salad or something else which is so reasonable. #veganisnotscary
