Steak and Ale Pie

I got this in London almost 3 years ago while I was on vacation and I’ve been dreaming about it ever since. Everything about it was perfect: the gravy, the pastry, the filling. I just wish there was some way to ship them to Canada so I could buy a deep freezer and fill it with these pies!!!

This is my go to when I find myself wanting some pie and close to Camden. Make sure to try the mud pie too!

This pie 🥧 was 💯💯💯💯💯 The gravy was heaven and the filling was some vegan steak made of soy(?) but it didn’t taste like mock meat and was pretty legittt! The bad thing about this would be that they have very little seats in the cafe and you would have to sit in the non sheltered area (worse if it was raining) But worth it because Camden‘s vegan food is that amazing hahaha

Really enjoyed the pie, had it with the Mac n cheese and mash on the side. A great take on an original classic.
