Very proud of Starbucks Philippines for finally having a vegan dessert on their menu. This
chocolate cake is a moist chocolate sponge layered with dairy-free dark chocolate avocado and raspberry filling. Though it’s hard to find a branch that has this available because it’s usually sold out, this one is definitely worth the effort of branch hopping. The raspberry filling surprisingly compliments the sponge cake, which is not that sweet; However I find the frosting too thick but the cacao nibs make it enjoyable to eat. Try this out! As indulgent as its dairy counterpart, but definitely a better option whether you’re vegan or not. Who doesn’t want cruelty-free alternatives, anyway?
