Soi Nam Chick’n Rice

The chicken is just beancurd rolls but they put a lot of effort into replicating the traditional dish otherwise.

A nice mix of tasty toppings: garlic and ginger, sweet soy sauce, and spicy sauce. The veggie chicken had great texture, but only okay taste (but the sauces made it much better). The turmeric rice was very tasty but a bit oily. Overall, it was a very good dish.

Good concept for vegan versions of the originals - the soy based meats are quite tasty, with perfect sauces

My all-time favourite dish at VeggieSF! The rice tastes just like chicken rice and the 'chicken' pieces are super convincing. I especially love the pickles served under the bok choy and am in love with the ginger onion sauce (you can ask for more sauce if it's not enough)!

My hunt for the best chicken rice ended after I took a bite from this dish. The rice was so well flavored that I could really eat it on it’s own. The chicken pieces were home made and cooked hainanese style. It came along with homemade chili sauce with ginger paste and sweet soy sauce. Every element in this dish had its own zing. Loved it so much.
