Part of Sichuan Douhua's new vegetarian menu. I find this dish very creative - a

large cooked tomato filled with mushrooms and sitting on a bed of warm pumpkin 'puree'. Yes, the soup was chock-full of pumpkin flavour and you can tell that they didn't skimp on the ingredients. The tomato was a tad towards the sour side but it's fine as it balance well with the sweetness of the pumpkin! And with all my favourite veggies in, I really enjoyed it!! An interesting twist to our usual pumpkin soup 😋
