This was a wonderful #complimentary dish that the restaurant gifted us for my partner’s #birthday.
My partner isn’t vegan but the dish was vegan anyway which was a nice surprise! It was rich and well balance.
We had the 7-course #tastingmenu - my partner isn’t vegan so had the standard one and I had the vegan one. It was absolutely heavenly! The #vegandishes weren’t an afterthought at all; I had some of the tastiest bites ever at this restaurant! It’s expensive but that comes with the territory - it was a #specialoccasion so we splashed out. Service was amazing and all ingredients were explained to us and there’s a big focus on #sustainability
The food was so good that we even talked about going back when they change the menu again. My partner often enjoyed my vegan dishes more than his meat ones and we were sometimes given the same dish which shows how they don’t find it necessary to use animal projects for the sake of it!
Highly recommend for a special occasion.
