texture but i really enjoyed it. it seemed to be made of tofu, complimented with a sweet teriyaki sauce (wish it were more savoury though). inside the roll contained this seasoned tau kee (beancurd) which i thought was very smart, but not sure what its trying to replicate...
the mayo and tempura bits topping were great too :) and also all the rolls here are massive! super value for money and filling
the other sushi too so I could have a filling meal. Very crispy breadcrumbs over the vnagi on the outside with some cucumber and seaweed filling. Had a good amount of mayo. Platters are more value for money than individual pieces as you get more food for the amount of money. 🍣
this is my first time having sushi roll, no basis of comparison. As per any sushi, ingredients are basically put together in a roll. But I guess there's something satisfying when you can place a variety of flavours and texture in one (big) mouthful 😚 Luckily the Vnagi doesn't stink like Unagi! 😬
Would be great to explore including the use of coloured rice. Though non traditional, it would be a great attractive selling point! 😜
excellent. The soy vnagi doesn't really come close to replicating real unagi, but each slice of this roll is nonetheless a delight to munch on. The vnagi is seaweed beancurd, I think, and the vegan mayo is super legit. Lovely.

the benchmark too high lol. This was still good but it feels like something is missing, perhaps because it gravitate towards the lighter side - not that rich and heavy nor drenched in teriyaki sauce. Would still recommend the avocado roll and spicy roll heh
keep doing what you do, Saute Sushi!
