Lion mane karahage

Generally it tastes good but I do find it a bit hard for my liking.

Maybe it is ok for you. But not for me with 4 tooth implants ! It makes it hard to bite and then to chew.

Somehow the taste is not my kind. But is perfect as a dish. It’s just a personal preference. You may super love this !!!

Interesting concept, using one of my favourite mushrooms to mimic chicken karage. Lion Mane mushrooms

are known for their 'meaty' texture and hence this dish did not fail in texture. However, I must admit that having tried chicken karage before, the latter still tasted better cos more fats were used. That said, I wouldnt look back at my non-vegan lifestyle again just for the taste. Animals > Tastebuds :)

This was yummy as a side dish but not the most special thing we ate

tonight. As usual, the texture of the lion's mane mushroom is delightful, especially when lightly fried as these karahage were. Still prefer Warung Ijo's ayam penyet when it comes to fried 'chicken' though!

This is really yummy, doesn't taste like karaage chicken but I love fried mushrooms anyhow!

And $3.90 for lion mane mushrooms is quite a steal! Only wish it came with a dip

Non-vegans say texture aside, it doesnt taste like karage at all. But it's a legit

side dish which tastes good by itself!

Doesn’t taste anything like chicken karaage but pretty tasty crispy lion mane mushroom.

It is exactly what is described on the menu and not as unique as the

other dishes on the menu, but still would recommend for any lions mane mushroom fan 😊💕

Crispy, juicy and delicious. Good replacement for chicken. Super tasty.

Taste was a bit bland, and the lion mane was slightly dry too.
