Roasted ‘Tajin’ Cauliflower

Cruel joke from @dafnelately 😏 I said I was struggling with my stomach in open revolt again, and she proceeds to order this additional #sharing plate 😳 Then I see that the #cauliflower is covered in the #evilweed, and I also quickly clock that the flavour profile of the #tajin really doesn't do it for me ☹️ Looking like horse slop doesn't help, I don't imagine 🤷‍♂️

This is one of my favourite #roastedcauliflower dishes out of any places I’ve tried 😛 so much so that I’m thinking I need to quickly write this review and plan my next pilgrimage there 🤩 It really came down to how well #roasted it was 🤤 The outside had a thin but sufficient depth of crust textured from the #roast 💥 The delectable richness of the #cashewcream was mouth-blowing 😝 It also did well to reign in the dish from being too salty. Though the savouriness was very satisfying, it was the #tajin that made this dish whole and ultimately, more complex🫶 At $9, this was the most worthwhile dish of the night 👌 I would absolutely #recommend this dish AND restaurant 😎 Roberson Quay’s got a good view..

I’ve become such a #cauliflower goth as of late 🖤 This is my second serving of #roasted cauliflower in a week! Slathered in a #cashewcream & #tajin too! 😋 Compared to the ones at Afterglow 👉 https://app.abillion.com/reviews/6369c32a07e92e746aa7900a 👈, these actually had a good crrruunncchh to them 🤤 As #crunchy as you can get a vegetable this soft of course, within reason 🤭 The pickled jalapeño & red onions on the side helped balance bites with a bit more of a #spicy punch, albeit I was the only that went for them 🌶️ Claire, our favourite #tardigradesofabv liked the first serving so much we had no choice but to order a second! Bless her little space travelling paws 🧸 🐾
