Unfortunately none of the cook-to-order zichar dishes could be verifiably veganised (the staff shot me a piercingly look of disbelief when I asked to omit oyster sauce in a no-egg veggie hor fun), so I settled for this idiot-proof veganfriendly red bean pau. It was decent. I actually ordered two, and when my daughter's playmate saw these, he asked for one and relished it with a lot of enjoyment. Plus my kid stole a bite of my remaining pau, so I can say this was #kidapproved.
