Racines is a small but charming place in Lausanne that serves only vegan dishes, pastries
and drinks.
We stopped here for a late breakfast and I was really craving a croissant so I decided to try this one with dates caramel. Unfortunately the croissant wasn’t as I was expecting and I was particularly let down by its dough consistency, far away from the soft and crispy texture they usually have. That’s too bad because I think this place has a lot of potential and I saw a lot of other things that looked super inviting. So probably I was just unlucky with this order.
The price was around 4 chf per pastry.
