Came here for a family meal not expecting to be able to order anything apart
from chips (the usual with local pubs.) However the menu said there’s a vegan menu upon request and when I asked they could do 2 types of curry, a vegan burger or the sausage. I chose the sausage and gravy and it was really good! The chips come with every meal and they’re proper home made chips and really really tasty!! Everything about the meal was spot on. I’d definitely come back to try their other options. They also had plenty of veggie options. The pub is really lovely, the owner is friendly and so are all the staff. It’s at the top of Graig hill if you keep on going before you turn to go down the lanes in Penycoedcae. They also have a pub cat called Dotty who’s really pleasant and likes attention from customers. She even has a seat reserved at a table 😄
