Same name, but slightly different ingredients! I had this pierogi 4 years ago (reviewed it,

too), but now it's made slightly different with a different base. When I first had these, they were made with sweet potato, and now they're made with thick whipped buttery russet potatoes. Its savory meets spicy! In the beginning, it was spicy that meets spicy.🔥🧯📛 These are now actually coated in the grippos seasoning, giving it a slight crust. I didn't care for these before, but I really like them now! They have some spice, but its not overwhelming. These are also deep-fried, so not one of their healthier options. (Yes, I felt super sick after this meal🤣) I never knew what Grippos seasoning was, but it's manufactured in Cincinnati, Ohio. Greg introduced everyone at the sanctuary to it since he's a Cincinnati boy, but it's basically a slightly spicy, slightly sweet bbq powder.

(Two on left) These were definitely not my favorite because they were so spicy, the

sweet potato didn't even cool them down. But if spicy is your thing, you'll love these spicy bbq pierogies.
