Have been reaching out for comfort food lately due to stress with work and exams. One of them is the traditional peanut pancake! Ever since I turned plant-based, I have avoided them as I thought they contain both milk and eggs. Imagine the delight when I confirmed with then that their version is vegan friendly! Having tried Granny's Pancake the other day,I decided to get this as a comparison. This was a much bigger piece (and hence a little costlier as well). However, I feel that the fillings-to-skin ratio is not to my liking as I think that the skin is a little to thick. They can also afford to do more with the fillings as well. That said, I do like that the peanut fillings are not too sweet and it seems like they made it more like a peanut butter spread to avoid it from overflowing so that it is not too messy when eaten.

really yummy and decent peanut pancake! though i must say there wasn't anything particularly special about it. and of course, being located at cbd area, it comes at a higher price point ($1.60 each) in comparison to your tradition min jiang kueh. but i must say the pancake was really thick and fluffy with a good amount of filling (though as a peanut lover i'd have prefered a bit more x). i think they also tend to give you a bigger end piece in order to compensate :)
