Pasteis De Nata

While on holiday in Portugal I found a very cute and quirky vegan and vegetarian café in Lisbon. These traditional custard tarts were veganised very well and were tasty and had a creamy texture and crispy pastry! I would recommend any plant-based tourist to visit this place if they get a chance!

It was nothing like a pasteis de nata, and I’ve tried the non-vegan version before I went vegan and the vegan one in Chiado and this is just not the same dessert. But even as a different dessert it isn’t even good - dry dough, not creamy and taste too much like vanilla. We also had to wait a really long time for them to even clean our table
