A fresh twist on classic pani puri that’s absolutely fantastic! The butternut squash tartare is rich and slightly sweet, pairing beautifully with the refreshing yogurt-yuzu foam. It’s like a little explosion of flavors in each bite – fun, unique, and oh-so-delicious!
I would’ve expected a purple filling for what’s a beetroot #tartare 🍠 The menu has an odd system where all veganizable items are marked with an asterisk *️⃣ and on select entries, certain ingredients are marked with them too. On this item, the #yoghurt yuzu foam 🐮 This white inside looks more like that than anything else. Tastewise though it didn’t tick me off unlike their casserole 🥘 Overall this was good. I’m happy that we started with this 😇 S$28 for their regular serving of 2 but they charged us a total S$42 for the added serving 💸 I’m eating rice and beans this whole month, mama 😵
When @dafnelately picked this Israeli place for dinner I certainly wasn't expecting that we would start with #panipuri 😋 Then again, maybe I should have been; this is from a part of the world where they know a thing or two about appropriating things that don't belong to them (#fromtherivertothesea 😒) Their vegetarian menu (there is also an omnivorous one) uses a * to indicate which items are veganisable. Beautiful plating, and amazing flavour both in the #beetroot #tartare and the #yuzu foam inside the equally delightful #deepfried balls 😋
