Finally tried my first vegan mozz stick and I love the concept but maybe not

so much the actual taste. These Mozzarella Stix were melty and the outside breading was fried and obvi delicious with the perfect amount of seasoning and flavor, but the cheeze was wayyy goopy. I definitely didn’t hate them, especially with the marinara sauce, but my mozzarella stick-loving sister did not like them at all. 🧀 #saveveganrestaurants

Had to dock points on texture… they are good flavor but very gooey almost like

daiya cheese, so I present an alternative -I’ve made mozz sticks at home that were better. They are a pain to make with all the oil to deep fry. But take chao white cheese slices slice into one inch wide strips stack 4 slices tall dip in plant milk flour plant milk bread crumbs freeze for 30 minutes to an hour then fry the cheese needs to be cold so it doesn’t leak out all at once in the hot grease before they brown.
