this is my top favourite burger at nomvnom!! love how the tempeh was so flavorful

and punchy with the rendang 💘💘 prefer this to the soy patty or mushroom any day! #crf

I've had this burger before, but I felt like more veg this time, so I

switched out the bun for lettuce, and added another patty. Come to think of it, when I was eating it, it's almost like a... Leaning Tower of Tempeh. Haha.

Not sure why they switched out the wooden serving plates for porcelain... thought it looked better served in the wooden board. But I guess that's not the most impt thing. #veganin2020

Loveee the flavourful rendang sauce and addition of the crunchy & tasty papadum 😋 One

of my fav burgers here! #burger

The tempeh paired up really well with the rendang sauce. Papadum lost its crisp by

the time I got home. But all round lovely burger nonetheless

So filling. This burger now tops my former favorite, the alamak burger. The tempeh was

generous, the rendang overflowing, and overall super flavorful and satisfying.

tad bit pricy given the small portion - definitely not filling on its own -

but the sauce goes so well with the tempeh and the bun is whole grain i believe

Took an off in lieu a few days ago and packed some lunch from NomVnom.

Takeaways are now recommended everywhere due to the virus else I would have preferred a dine in for burgers. That said, this burger did not disappoint and was glad to be able to enjoy the freshness of all the fillings (especially the lettuce) still though the papadum crackers got a little soggy in between. All the fillings complement each other very well and buns were soft and fluffy too. One of the most delicious vegan burger I had ever tried and would definitely patronized!

Fillings: Burger buns, papadum crackers, rendang sauce, cucumbers, tempeh & lettuce

The Tempeh Rendang burger ($9.90 a la carte) not only had a local twist but

also offered more depth of flavours and textures. There were 2 tempeh patties which were firm, grainy, savoury, and nutty; rendang curry that was smoky and slightly spicy with mushroom mock meat bits; papadum crackers that were crunchy and slightly bitter; as well as cucumber slices and lettuce leaves that provided a light refreshing crunch.
