My last lunch for 2020 and I decided to spend it on burgers (just because

I am a big fan). Seeing that nomvnom has finally reintroduced their red rice and charcoal buns, I couldn't help but head back there again. This time I got the Rendang burger and opt for a swap to the lion mane patty and upgraded to red rice bun. Underneath the bun, there were papadum and cucumbers served on top of the Rendang paste, all which were well sat on the patty itself. The papadum remains its crunchiness despite being layered in between the cucumbers and bread and the coral lettuce at the bottom layer was very fresh and crisp. The layers went very well together with the vegetables, Rendang sauce and the patty (which was very meaty!) complementing each other which makes the entire burger delicious. I do recommend this for all to try. #veganin2020

This is delicious!!! The star of this burger is the housemade rendang curry sauce, which

has a thick and gritty texture and intensely flavourful. I like that I can eat this with my hands (without using any utensils) and can fit right into my mouth. 😂 It comes with a crunchy soy patty, Japanese cucumbers, coral lettuce, and spiced papadums (which adds a nice crunchiness). This is definitely an excellent burger which I will definitely eat again! 👍👍

Burger lovers will probably love this as it is a hearty burger with soy patty and the requisite lettuce on a soft fluffy bun. Will also be nicer if the bun is hot too.

This burger has a lot of originality with pompadom crisps and cucumber placed in the burger with both a crispy light and crunchy bite.
The presentation is wonderful too. While it looks like there was a layer of rebdang when presented, the rendang is quickly absorbed, so the overall taste was dry. I am someone who likes sloppy burgers with a super juicy sensation. So this is dry as you can see in the picture showing the side section picture. I found it hard to finish although I was hungry. More rendang gravy please!

Pretty dang good.
Come with some chips on the inside which is very typical for rendang

vibes. The flavour was pretty good. I love how soft and fluffy the bun is and the patty was well done for sure!
It’s a good serve size but quite expensive for $10 just for the burger. Not spicy, but honestly worth every bite!

This was a good one! Bread bun was soft and yummy, patty well done and

the mini papadums was a nice touch! Best of all, my omnivore friend was both thumbs up about it and subsequently brought her husband here again for a date to try more vegam burgers! Whoop whoop!! #crf

Interesting flavor, the rendang sauce was good and not too spicy. Love all the flavors

and other ingredients inside. Though the buns didn’t really go together with everything else. I think next time I’d rather just order the rendang with rice rather than as a burger.

I found another one of my top favourite burgers in Nomvnom! The burger today was

nicely prepared. Despite take-away, the burger remains warm and the papadum still retains its crisp. This is the first time I am having their soy patty and I enjoyed it even more than the lion mane mushroom patty. The rendang paste was spicy and it was rich but not sinful at all. Totally recommend this for those who have a more Asian taste bud. 😋


The Nom Nom Rendang Burger ($9.90) was delicious. The rendang is not spicy ( I

even added some Tabasco to give it a little kick), but it just gave so much flavour to the overall burger. In love with the soy patty because it’s so crispy and original!There were 3 slices of cucumber in it which didn’t bother me because it didn’t make much difference in overall taste of the burger, but if you‘re not a fan of cucumber, you can just pick it off the burger before you dig it!


Taste good. The Rendang sauce which is mild spicy taste very good with the burger

in layers of cucumber slides, crackers, lettuce, soy patty.
Try it if you love Rendang!! To try the Tempeh Rendang next time😁
