Mushroom Truffle Pizza

You can smell #truffle perfuming the entire cafe when you walk in 🤩 It made me reminisce to when I was a kid and thought you had to be super rich to afford it but @dafnelately has since told me that the oils and salts can be man-made now 😆 We got a good ol’ #thincrust goin’ on but not too thin (I’ve been burnt before). Interestingly, they didn’t use any tomato sauce base 🤔 I was pleased to realise it worked extremely well in its favour 🤤 The #vegan #creamcheese was rich enough to just blossom with the powerful truffle. It was just #creamy #toasty #umami holy freakin’ just… WOW 🤪 It almost entirely masks the #mushrooms but the truffle pulls it up 🤤 RM22 is seriously incredible value for the quality. I’ve had far inferior #pizza for a lot more 😛 I see why Brown Poodle’s claim to fame is their #vegancheese 😝

Hold your horses 🐎, your foxes 🦊, and yourself 🐈 for what is probably the truffliest Pizza in Pulau Pinang 🏝️, definitely north Malaysia 🌴, and even probably all of this side of continental Asia!! 🌏 Look, I may be overhyping it but the entire *restaurant* smelled of #truffle the moment we walked in! @m1tch9i actually made it a point for me to remember her reaction as I reminisced this #pizza last night 😂 Honestly, try find a better #veganpizza spot in Penang! The last place I asked to make a pizza without cheese is still having a heart attack 🤨 Poor chef cannot live without murder! 🤪 On that #ditchdairy note however, this pizza actually was #cheesy. Like chhheeeessssssyyyy like an Adam Sandler romcom movie cheesy 🧀 ..all while maintaining that #cowmilkisforcalves 🐄 Brown Poodle is known for one thing above all else, and it’s their amazing in-house #vegancheese 😋 So imagine that as your pizza base 🍕 then littered with a tonne of #mushroom 🍄 and then literally baptised! in #truffleoil 🫠 I’m salivating and starving at this point! Shame this is a #throwback all the way to #Penang 😭 Someone find me vegan food this affordable and delicious in Singapore..
