First dish in Cambodia! 🇰🇭 😋
I stumbled across Tevy's Place completely accidentally - I was intending to try out Banlle, a fully vegetarian restaurant in Siem Reap, but when I got there it was completely dark, with a sign saying that they were closed for the Khmer New Year. Luckily, Tevy's was just a few doors down, and even though they aren't fully veggie, they have an entire page of their menu dedicated to veggie and vegan food.
I tried the Mushroom and Tofu Amok. #Amok is a traditional Cambodian dish where the food is steamed in coconut cream wrapped inside a #bananaleaf, then served still in the leaf. It was beautifully presented and seriously tasty! 😋 It was also ridiculously cheap considering how much I ate. Definitely recommend this restaurant for vegans visiting Siem Reap! #vegancambodia #vegansiemreap #vegantravel
