The sesame seeds and oil creates an aromatic feel to the dish. Aunty uses monkey head mushrooms which has a robust chew instead of mock meat. She is generous with the portions of vegetables with long beans, cabbage and egg plants. loooooove the chewy and flavourful monkeyhead mushrooms! the braised potatoes melt in your mouth and the black fungus has a nice chewiness to it. it is a tad spicy bc of the ginger but it's definitely good for ginger lovers.
