Shacha Lion’s Mane Udon

first time visiting the new Mong Cha Cha cafe in Toa Payoh. Most of the

dishes are the same as nomvnom’s, there was a new waffle item on the menu but was feeling for noodle soup instead. This item costed $9.90 which was rather decent and a generous portion. We’re fans of MCC and the staff are always super friendly and nice, would be happy to come again.

The soup is rich, the udon is nicely cooked and the veg, mushroom are just

the right combination :)

Japanese udon noodles, lion's mane mushrooms, portobello mushrooms, white button mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, and 'ikan

bilis' in umami shacha soup base. Liked that there was a mix of mushrooms! However the soup was too oily for my liking. ($9.90, allium-free)

Udon in rich and flavourful soup, however it is a little greasy. Paired with vegan

soy based ice cream.

$9.90. Was expecting a thicker broth but this was not bad nonetheless. Mushrooms were juicy!
