Fragrant and savoury yam rice served with braised seitan 'duck', braised peanuts, cucumber slices, and

fried cabbage (thumbs up for extra vegetables). Looked and tasted pretty close to the real deal, very satisfying! You can also add on braised tau kwa (+$2) or braised tau pok (+$2). Only available from 11am-7pm. ($5.80)

Overall an enjoyable dish. The sauce was very authentic which helps pull the elements together

including the yummy fried yuba.

First time here at Makan Vegan. The duck rice is a bit salty (not sure

if that’s how it’s supposed to taste as I’ve never tried the actual duck rice) but it’s not too bad. Well cooked cabbages with delicious mock duck and the flavoured rice is a super great combination to try out.

def on the less salty side, but i love the sticky sauce! of course, don’t

expect it to be the same as duck

Very big portion and the braised sauce is on point. The duck meat isn’t good

though 🥲 too gluten-y for me.

This duck rice had some wheat gluten as mock intestines, some braised tau kwa, peanuts,

some cabbage and two slices of fresh cucumber. Not too bad but too salty for me. Nicer to eat it with some kway chup chilli.

The braised sauce and rice were quite good. Rice was firm and tasty. Served with

some seitan, firm tofu, braised peanuts, cucumbers, blanched cabbage.
