I find myself a bit stuttered for words when reviewing as of late & my

body hasn’t exactly been helpful on the past week to help me find the joy in food. I’m trying though and this was a last good meal I had with my friend before the worst of the malaise started kicking in. Meatballs by Impossible Foods, spiced in-house is my guess, as it has a very local tongue. Anise is almost apparent but it’s a Chinese 5 spice blend that stands out. Served with a side of mashed potatoes and spinach, this was my friends meal but we exchanged servings. His was almost better. The #veganmeatballs had a nice chew to them and while he didn’t as much enjoy the flavour, I found them just right. Comforting meal for a rainy day I’m upset I didn’t think to order this for lunch.

burger(my favourite burger), love the mashed potato at the bottom, but i would imagine the whole dish would be very heavy if not shared with people. really good though plant based meatballs and potato my favourite combo.

So, I went to Love Handle again and tried their impossible meat balls with mashed

potato, spinach and mushrooms jus. It was just delicious!

I am amazed at the consistency of its taste! The meatballs with the mushroom tasted so yummy! This was just what I needed after a long day of work - perfect comfort food! 😍

Very generous portion of the meatballs which had a good bite without being too chewy.

The potatoes were nice and creamy too. The main flavour here comes from the gravy and the veggies, however there wasn’t much of it compared to the meatballs and mash, which left the entire dish feeling a bit more dry and bland than I would’ve liked.

Loved the mushrooms, so delicious. Meatballs were decent and actually had an overly meaty /

taste + smell for me.

Overall a tad too salty. Mashed potato is quite bland. The mushroom jus helps to

balance it all.

Delicious.. perfect balls that I’ve flatten out cos I

needed to ensure that it is properly cooked as I am pan frying them. Love it that we have the option to buy only as much as needed.

As my son would say it, it’s way too close to the real thing! But

he enjoyed it immensely!
