They’ve got a 2-for-1 promotion going on for these #noodles at the moment 😮 …except they actually don’t 🤨 In typical Life Cafe fashion the discount is only available for their non-vegan noodles. Seriously Kuching, how hard is it to #droptheegg? 🐣 We paid double for the regular #spicy noodles with the #vermicelli instead. 3/4 noodle options here have egg, so while their food is excellent I must admit I feel envious when I see my mother chow down on their green #spinach noodles 🥬 They do so much right but I seriously think they ought to #dobetter on their vegan options 🤥

Though it’s not advertised properly, all the #vegetarian food here is actually #vegan 😆 Many thanks again to my friend who used to be the operations manager for their ingredients 🙏 The omnivore version of this is their absolute signature. It’s all about the #spice with the #noodles here 😉 It’s a bit of a bummer that the only #veganfriendly #noodle option is this #vermicelli BUT it’s really well done 😛 I do love slurpin’ on this gentle but thick sauce soaker 😝 From the S to XXL spice level offered, I always get the standard M 😌 It’s a good level for struggling spice lovers like myself 🙃 It hits my savoury notes to great satisfactions! I feel as though I recognise the #mockmeat which is a brand I can’t recall but it’s good!! It still has that slightly fibrous plant feel 😗 RM13.90 ‘cause times are tough so I can’t complain really… 😶 I do recommend as they’re a franchise that remains open later than the handful of vegetarian restaurants in Kuching 😅

The last time I was in Kuching literally none of their branches had the #vermicelli available 😂 Shame though cause it’s the only #eggfree noodle option they have and #noodles seems to be their specialty here! The staff seem quite confident though that their #fakemeat is #veganfriendly; It’s really just the noodles that you ought look out for 😇 The thicker vermicelli over the thinner variant definitely scored points in my texture over all dining preference and their “M” level of #spicy was just a light tingle, lovely! Served with some bok choy 🥬, carrots 🥕, and tiny bits of garnish 🌿, it’s a pretty passable meal altogether 😇 I’m dining vegan in small old Kuching, #veganisnotscary at all!
