Affordable, tasty vegan sandwiches like this are just not available in Cape Town. Lexies, you really strike the balance between value for money and taste. It is affordable to pick up a sandwich when in the area as a takeaway - even more affordable than making it for myself at home! Delisious meal, and a generous portion!

I need to tag you again here @bianca1701 since I have long coveted Lexi’s in Joburg, thanks to your reviews 🤤 Finally got to try out the Cape Town Lexi’s, albeit as a takeaway. Opted for this tofu sandwich after reading some stellar reviews here and I was the furthest thing from disappointed! 🤩 Clearly not an appropriate thing to eat at the office, which I realised too late 😂 it was very messy but SOOOO delicious! And the best kind of different 🥪 Couldn’t resist some crispy kale as a side dish (it was really good, too). A colleague enquired what I was eating and only after I replied “a tofu sandwich and some kale” did it occur to me that perhaps I am a bonafide stereotype of a vegan after all 🙄 ...and DAMN PROUD of it 👊💥😂 Cannot wait to experience more of the Lexi’s menu!!! #greyton #greytonfarmanimalsanctuary

I know this looks like a whole bunch of smooshed ingredients on a sandwich but it's easily one of the tastiest sandwiches I've had. Toasted rye filled with BBQ tofu, slaw, spicy mayo and kimchi. Super messy to eat but jammed with flavour 👌🏼 #abillionlove
