What a wonderful surprise to wander into this Irish cafe in Nantes when everywhere else
was closed and although it’s not vegan friendly upon first glance being mostly traditional French cruises, the wonderful owner welcomed my vegan request with open arms and made me the most delicious Thai style salad!! If you’re ever wandering around Nantes and come across Le Becketts just ask for Mark (I hope I’m remembering his name correctly) the friendly Irish, fluent French speaking owner and tell him you heard he makes a great vegan meal 🌱 I told him I’d let the vegan community to know to not be afraid to order in this unlikely place. His passion for food and flavor is so wonderful. Great tour memory 🌱 🇫🇷
