Excellent dish, very creamy! The restaurant is cash only but the owners were very accommodating and willing to accept foreign currencies.
Not a usual fan of laksa but the vegan version sure changes my mind <3 This was unexpectedly my favourite dish, love the vermicelli and mock meat pieces inside
I dunno if itâs just me, but I kinda feel this is a bit overrated. The coconut cream base is great. It wasnât really laksa noodles though, theyâve used BeeHoon type. The best part is that itâs not spicy, but not too flavourful either. A bit bland.
The laksa base was rich, creamy, flavourful and wasnât oily at all. It was generously topped with mushroom mock meat, fish cake-like strips (resembled carrot cake) and thin cucumber strips. The noodles werenât traditional laksa noodles though, it was bee hoon/vermicelli noodles which was okay but it wouldâve been perfect with laksha noodles. Do recommend it, the broth is a must-try. Costs S$9.30
As someone with low spice tolerance, really appreciate that they put them sambal on the side. At first, I didn't put the sambal as I was afraid that it will be too spicy. The dish ended up quite bland. After mixing some of the sambal in, to my surprise, it makes a huge difference! The broth become much more flavorful. It accentuate the spices without making it too spicy. In the end, I put all the sambal in and generally satisfied with the meal đ
