This past weekend, I strolled through Oakville, Ontario and made
my way to La Dolce Vita for some gelato. I had been here once before and absolutely loved their gelato. All the flavours are completely vegan. I opted for a waffle cone with 2 scoops; one scoop of peanut butter and jelly, and the other was banana split. This might be an odd pair, but I was captivated by them. 
Both flavours were absolutely delicious and authentic. I was surprised to learn from the cashier that some people complain about the total vegan/plant-based offerings; there’s nothing with dairy. Their gelatos taste incredible, so who cares what’s not in them?
There were only 2 problems:
a)  with about 20 flavours, it was difficult to choose. But this is a nice problem to have.
b)  it was a hot day, and the gelato melted quickly. Again, not necessarily a horrible problem to have. 
I would definitely return here. The store is located just a short walk from Lake Ontario which offers very pleasant scenery and duck-watching.
