Sorry for the bad image quality! I’ve finally found decent white bee hoon! I’ve always
preferred white bee hoon because it’s less salty and slightly spicy (depending on how much chilli is added into it when cooking🙃). It also soaks up sauces better!
This dish was around $5, which I thought it was pretty expensive considering it’s vegetarian cai png in Kofu — presumably higher pricing for the whole tofu?
Nevertheless, every ingredient — tofu, black fungus with tau kee and the vegetable — was really delicious, and the white bee hoon was just lightly spicy!😋
