I guess I should have gone with my gut and avoided this weird combination pizza
of pink mayo, figs, and sausage but I came with a group of students and they wanted to try this. I asked the server several times how many pieces were in the 8 inch pizza and she told me 8 pieces. I asked a few times just to make sure because there was 7 of us in total and I wanted to make sure everyone got a piece. Lo and behold when the food arrived there were only 6 pieces which screwed up everything and we had to order yet another pizza. If staff don’t know something, I don’t know why they can’t check instead of just giving false information (although this seems to be quite usual in Hong Kong). Regardless, this pizza was gross — the cheese stuck to your teeth, and hot mayo and figs is just a weird combination. Plus there was barely any sausage on this — the piece I got didn’t have any at all. I was so excited for my non-vegan students to try vegan pizza for the first time and I doubt they ever will again.
