i really loved their jjajangmyeon, so i was pleased to find this vegan option! chose

the mild spicy flavour - think it’s called yangmyeon and overall the taste is delish! matched this with the yummy seaweed kimchi fries #abillionturns3

Kimchi Tofu Burger from Jinjja Chicken! 100% Halal🧚🏼‍♀️ I’ll start off saying that the

presentation was...bad. The Kimchi was messy & dripping out of the burger & part of the tofu ‘patty’ wasn’t even in the bun/burger😳 The buns were also quite flat & smushed which made the burger even harder to eat— it was very messy. I did order the burger online so maybe the presentation was bad because of the delivery? I’m unsure about that. As for the taste, the bun tasted sweet while the kimchi was a little tingly. the outer edges of the tofu ‘patty’ tasted decent but the centre piece was too plain (it tasted like basic tofu, there was no seasoning) and didn’t have much taste. The tofu patty was also wrapped with a piece of lettuce but, with the messy presentation, it was once again very messy to eat; I had to pull out the piece of lettuce. The kimchi tasted great on it’s own but I feel like it didn’t go well with the burger. A+ for creativity but some things are better on their own. Overall disappointing, wished it tasted and looked better. definitely would not recommend. I’m only giving it a borderline decent rating because the price was <$10 which i feel is cheap for the (big) size of the burger. Hope to see better vegetarian options from Jinjja chicken soon!
