I feel awful for saying this, as it’s such a hidden gem of a restaurant
and the staff are so passionate and amazing, but thought this dish was kinda… underwhelming?
It’s beautifully presented but the flavours didn’t taste of much. I’ve had vegan salmon before and it was quite “fishy” tasting, but this was very mild. The “caviar” didn’t really taste like anything? (I’ve never had real caviar though so is that accurate? 😅) And if you’re a big eater probably choose something else, as it’s not very filling for $25 - I supposed that’s standard for sushi though.
Very unique dish though for us vegans who are used to plain avocado rolls as the only sushi option!
