No other name could have been perfect enough for this dish. The dish is basically two pita breads (flavours of your choice) and a generous amount of hummus and three falafels. I chose za’atar and garlic flavoured breads. Super soft and flavourful breads with loads of hummus that tastes like heaven. Falafels are soft and crunchy both :) Loved this dish and would love to try other flavours too next time. Highly recommended! Do not miss this!
Everything's nice in this set. Chose za'atar and sesame pita bread. Both were yummy. Hummus was rather garlicky but very smooth. Falafels were just right, not too dry. The red dip was a rather spicy one, very nice.
I normal hate falafels because of how dry my throat gets after but these were so soft and moist inside!! The hummus was nice, but I didn’t like the za’atar pita enough to finish it.
🧆 It’s all my favs in one set — falafels, chickpeas, hummus & za’atar / ras el hanout (lit. head of shop) pita! 🫓 According to Feasting At Home — za’atar is a blend of savory dried herbs like oregano, marjoram or thyme, and toasted earthy spices like cumin and coriander, with sesame seeds, salt and the most important ingredient of all… tangy sumac. According to Wiki — common ingredients of ras el hanout include cardamom, cumin, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, mace, allspice, dry ginger, chili peppers, coriander seed, peppercorn, sweet and hot paprika, fenugreek, and dry turmeric 🌟
Tried the Cajun pita with hummus. Loved the taste and soft texture of the pita. The hummus was smooth, falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside just the way I like it.
