Delicious salad of baby spinach, red quinoa, shitake mushrooms, Kale, broccoli and roasted chickpeas with

a creamy romanesco dressing.
I always approach roasted chickpeas with caution. If not done well (sadly, very often), they're just dry, bleh balls of saliva-vampire 😉. But Ile de Pain nail it in this salad. Light and crisp little chickpea chappies of happiness.
My only wish was for a bigger portion. I was peckish again fairly soon after this lunch.

But this is a really tasty mix of beautiful, fresh ingredients and I would eagerly order it again (but, alas, I still have to work through the rest of their menu first... Rules are rules 😉)
