Polpette Vegetali

Mi aspettavo di più. Al ristorante di Ikea Rimini l’UNICO piatto vegano ieri era: polpette con piselli al vapore. Ci si poteva abbinare qualcosa in più: lì accanto c’era un misto di verdure allettante ma ci avevano messo dentro qualcosa che non lo rendeva adatto a una dieta vegana (non so cosa). Separatamente si potevano prendere anche delle patate al forno fredde e tristi. Nel 2025 Ikea può fare meglio.

Il piatto comprendeva anche i piselli, ma a me non piacciono e li ho fatti togliere. Accompagnato con un’insalatina verde, gustoso e saziante.

Drove for hours to get to IKEA, sustained by thoughts of their vegan polpette... But I had forgotten about the stupid green pass thing so couldn't eat in the restaurant. Found them in the bistrot instead, which greatly improved my mood 😅 and they are super nice. Highly processed I'm sure, but they were just what I needed. Incredibly convincing, too. I feel sure that you could feed these to omnis and they wouldn't notice the difference. Even the fact that I had to eat them on a bench outside didn't seem so bad in the end 😋😋😋
