Finally getting around to reviewing this amazing #macandcheese from the Dayton Vegfest! Sprouting Dreams is #womenowned and #minorityowned, and the owner also coordinated the whole Vegfest in addition to serving great food! The base was truffle Mac, though I didn't notice a strong #truffle flavor. I liked that there wasn't a fake #vegancheese, it tasted lighter and more natural. The mac was topped with delicious #veganchicken which had a great texture - softer than most I've tried and with a little kick of spice in the breading. The #chipotle ranch was delicious and also had a little bit of a kick, and the slaw helped cool everything down a bit. Everything together was fantastic. I am absolutely exhausted. I need a day off. There weren't a whole lot of lunch options at the Dayton market, mostly baked goods. I always enjoy Sprouting Dreams Mac and Cheese. I was a little sad that this was extra #spicy all the way through. It honestly made me a bit sick and I couldn't eat much of it. It has a base of my favorite mac and cheese, Sprouting Dreams housemade chickn (made from chickpeas and mushrooms) pickles, tangy slaw and a very spicy #bbq sauce.
