Doesn’t taste like hokkien mee but the key elements are there - the right noodles, vegan seafood etc. The sambal is really spicy and good too!
Much better compared to many of the other places. Not a fan of mock seafood myself, so I hope next time I could ask to substitute mock seafood with just tofu. Portion size is very generous, and the sambal is great!
$10 +GSTGood unhealthy special hokkien mee. $8. Has a tinge of sweetness and peanut taste. Quite impressed. Lots of mock meat, mock seafood and fishballs. Thoroughly enjoyed it on a cheat day. Portion size is generous. I'm a big eater and I felt full. The sambal is very delicious-sour and spicy.
Not bad at all! A tiny bit flavourless but still delicious. Love this dish with lots of lime and chilli. Portion was huge! #veganin2020
I normally wouldn’t get Chinese food at an Indian restaurant but Gokul is an exception! Their Hokkien Mee is superb! Love the different veggies, tofu chunks and vegan seafood bits in the Hokkien mee. Hokkien mee used to be one of my fav hawker foods but they usually use pork lard even if you order it without meat... So glad Gokul does a vegan version that’s so delicious
