This was what the girlfriend ordered for herself, full disclaimer. I dislike #nasikerabu because I

dislike #kerabu, and here the loathsomely sour #salad was provided in an overly generous quantity 😭 Then #coconut flakes on top of the #butterflypea #rice 😬😬 The #mushroom #rendang and the #tofish were decent but didn't save the dish ☹️

And yes, this was REX KL, the scene of the Islamic police's despicable and gut-wrenching raid on the Halloween drag party last Saturday. We went to their canteen for dinner a few hours before things kicked off, and had left by the time Allah's men inflicted cruelty upon the blameless 😞

Got to head to this place whenever I’m in KL. And I was craving for

#nasikerabu So so good. Traditionally this is served wth meat dishes but easily veganised. The rice was done just right,light flavoured with d herbs the #tempeh was beautifully marinated. The ‘fish’ with the percik sauce was lovely but a bit on d creamy side. The #sambal was very legit n authentic. The star of this tho is the #friedtofu -omg i dont know how they do it but it was fried to perfection,fluffy but tasty.
