High Tea Set

High Tea set for 2 pax available from weekday 3pm - 5pm, consist of 4 type of fried food and 4 type of steam dim sum. However I wouldn't recommended as the quality of standard set is so so. The fried platter was served first, with yam spring rolls, red bean banana fried item, pumpkin & yam fried kueh & glutinous rice roll. The glutinous roll was too oily and heavy. I only enjoy the yam spring roll. The steam platter I enjoyed more but have some slight issue, green dumpling the filing is too dry and flourish. The pink skin was too watery and broke off too easily. Siew mia was just right for me. I don't know the name of the actual items so only can describe them via looks or ingredient.

Overall this set featured more sweet than savoury dishes (eg the fried roll I assumed to be a spring roll was pumpkin) but the others were delightful. This set would be perfect for 2 and for those who have a sweet tooth! It’s not a reiteration of the traditional dim sum though, but it’s an interesting spin on the original items!
