Hash (a special)

Not even a blink! when we asked if the special could be made vegan! Lovely! They substituted tofu for eggs and switched out the dairy to vegan cheese. It was delicious. Plus! I’m a girl who likes a lot of food (if it’s good) and this was very generous. Love Gabriel’s!!

This special of the day was really delicious, and an enormous portion. When I haven’t had potatoes for awhile, they taste like the best thing in the whole world. This dish was a nicely seasoned hash: potatoes, peppers, onions, braised greens, cauliflower, and probably more, garnished with avocado. Gabriel’s is a farm to table restaurant, all local farms, and very well run. They have a soup token program –you can buy one or more to give out to someone who might need a hot meal, redeemable for a hot container of soup, bread and butter. I’ve included a picture of the menu, so you can see they have several vegan items. Overall great experience.
