So I’m a very big fan of this restaurant due to their inclusIve offering of
vegan and vegetarian options which are delicious! The meat ones too. But there’s 1 thing that absolutely would make me not go back again - the unneccesary use of straws in hot coffees like mocha. I’ve given this feedback the last time I was there and the then manager agreed with me. Yday i was back and was so surprised to see the straws in SELECTED hot drinks. I checked with jerric the manager and he said the bosses or higher management insisted the straw for compliance of company policy even though customers have given similar feedback. I understood his challenges and decided to raise this issue. Already using straws for all their cold drinks was something I thought they could review and even if the straws were biodegradable, to suck hot mocha from a straw??? Our straw habits are already so ingrained in Singapore so hIgh chance people wIll just get used to the straws In mocha even though nowhere else I’ve seen such a thing. In the end I requested for a Longer spoon which worked a lot better for stirring and drinking! To the Management, I would love to understand why straws in hot coffees/ mochas are part of company policy. I am imploring you to pls review this policy since you guys are already so “conscious” with the greenery, inclusive healthy food offerings! Many thanks !
