What a delightful banh mi!! The tofu is very nicely prepared, and the ingredients come
together so well 🌱 The pickled daikon, cucumber and carrot bring some crunch to the sandwich, which balances with the tofu’s soft texture and the crusty warm baguette to perfection. Oh and I’m a coriander lover so this was just the right amount! As for the sauce, it was gently spicy and really hit the spot. I had to remove the 3 chunks of fresh chili because I’m not this resistant to spicy stuffs yet, so I just wish the waiters would ask whether customers want some or not beforehand.
Honestly a good banh mi, the kind you could actually grab on the street in Hanoi 🇻🇳 Much pricier than if you actually bought it in Vietnam, but very fairly priced for Copenhagen (69dkk).
