How is Green Common this good at everything?! 🤩 This #laksa is absolutely delicious 🤤

Their choice of using the same #veganfish as they do in their #fishandchips is a superb call! I'm not even jealous their older offering with #veganchicken by Heura is no longer available 🤭 Did someone pull an umbrella up? Cause I'm sensing shade! Shade from the fire that this #veganlaksa will not provide, unfortunately 🤷‍♀️ Fortunately for what they lack in #spicy they more than make up for in #lemak 🥥 That's #coconutmilk / #santan by the way 😉 This was an order via Grab in luckily very #biodegradable packaging. Let that be known! This is slowly becoming my favorite vegan restaurant in Singapore 😋 I highly recommend this #bestpicks dish!! 📡

I had to get this one last time before they shut down 💔 I’ve said

it before and I’ll say it again, this my favourite #veganlaksa 🍜 It’s a #laksa lemak — aka #santan aka #coconutmilk, so it’s no wonder it works such a spell on a #coconutlover such as myself. Their kitchen closes tomorrow with the whole shop closing on the 23rd this month. I really hope they find a new location and reopen 😢

Creeping into the list of best vegan laksas on the island is this omni seafood

laksa from Green Common. The gravy is the right amount of lemak. The addition of vegan seafood in dish is just 👨🏻‍🍳 💋

Presentation looks amazing but the Laksa lacks the spicy flavours that I’d expect from any

Laksa dish.
Omni seafood is amazing (just not the Omni tuna, which luckily is not included in this, I think)

Tastes really good! Portion is average, but I like the presentation a lot! I actually

admired the bowl more than the food..
Well, nothing much to say here 🙃

A big bowl with lots of noodles but a bit too spicy for my tastes.

This is the most legit plant-based laksa I have tried! The laksa soup is extremely

similar to regular laksa broth and also pretty spicy. The serving is large and contains two omni fish filets and one omni crab cake, two taukee rolls, and plenty of taupok. Second time i ordered this and both times i choked on the spice on my initial bite 🥵 i remove the fish amd crab cake to avoid them getting soggy!

The previous version used to be served with Heura chicken, and I remember the broth

was watery and not fragrant in the past when Green Common first opened. Much prefer this new and improved version with thicker and more aromatic broth. Not very spicy. Served with Omni classic fillet and Omni crab cake (quite unconventional), beancurd rolls, and taupok. (*Contains alliums, a lot of fried shallot toppings) ($14)

The soup taste is good and comparable with the real laksa, crab meat was okay,

but the omni fish fillet in the laksa was a bit of a weird feature.

i like how they added the fish fillet + crab into the bowl which made

it unique 👌🏼👌🏼 otherwise, i find that you can get laksa for a similar quality at much lower prices at your chinese veg stalls 👀
