Now this is a star. The "fish" fillet tasted like fish and looked like chicken.

loved how there is a slight sour tang that replicates the fish taste, and it had a delicious bite to it.

Must try!

This is so addictive! Love the flaky texture and accompanying vegan tartare dip.

Woohoo Gardein is as good as it gets! Delicious fishy fillets. There are 4 of

the small fillets, and I know a home pack comes with 6 so it's 2/3 of the pack. It goes perfectly with the vegan tartar sauce! The avocado dip isn't that tasty but it is healthy and soothing. I think they should include some veggies too, especially for the price at $16+GST. The food is very yummy but I find it overpriced. Non veg friend said he would recommend friends, which is pretty cool. #veganheaven #spoiltforchoice

These fish and chips completely exceeded my expectations. Have to say that the homemade tartar

played a big role in it but the fish and fries itself were sooo good. The mushy peas were hehhh I wouldve preferred a salad. But overall, definitely a recommend!! #abillionlove

Gardein's fish and chips is amazing! Love the texture and flavor. This is served with

smashed peas (fluffy but bland), fries and tartar sauce. #abillionlove

Gardein Fish & Chips ($16)

Ingredients: Gardein Fishless Fillet, smashed peas, fries and homemade tartar

sauce

The fish tastes very legit, on my first bite, especially with the tartar sauce!! And I loved the crunch... It was more like fish nuggets, rather than fish fillets though it was really soft 💙 The tartar sauce was really good as well.

I dont like the taste of the smashed peas though!!

Loved it! The fish was very nice and crisp, the tartar sauce was nice and

tart, and the chips were nicely fried. Even the mushy peas had a nice flavour. Literally no reason to eat the real thing when this exists.

FYI, I think Green Common must have a partnership with Omni because this is no longer Gardein, it’s the new Omni fish fillet.

First time trying fish and chips because I've never found a plant based one before,

very interesting experience! The "fish" taste is quite subtle, strong flavour of batter.4 pieces for $16 so a bit pricier than the other dishes on the menu but a good option for any veg/vegan folks who want to experience fish and chips!

I've bought Gardein fish and really liked the taste. This dish is nothing fancy. What

elevates the taste is the tartare sauce. It's so good that it complements the fish really well. The mash potatoes are alrighr. Overall this is a dish kids will enjoy (my daughter certainly did). Adults may probably give this a miss as it's not extraordinary.
