First time trying crab cakes ever since I've never found a plant based one before,
and according to my non veg friends it tastes just like the real thing! 5 pieces for $10, great appetizer!

My second favourite dish! Seems like I'm a huge supporter of Gardein. I thought the
texture and taste of the crab cake was just nice, not too soft and the taste was not overly fishy (my main problems abt mock crab meat). The only thing I didn't really like was the starfruit salsa, I felt it didn't go very well, but I suppose it was meant to be an interesting twist.
Never heard of Gardein, but the Crab Cakes were good, had a nice texture inside.
They were pineapples on top of it which made it complete for this whole meal. I never ate seafood, however, I asked my friend whether this tastes similar to the Crab cakes he had before and he declined. Instead, he said this was a new taste.

better gardein products I've had 🦀 The starfruit salsa is a rather unusual but pleasantly delicious too!
Actually tastes like crab cakes, with very good texture. It doesn’t have a strong seafood
taste but I wouldn’t know if no one told me this was vegan. The salsa is also tasty!
quite underwhelming because i had previously bought a pack and enjoyed snacking on them at
home. still worth a try if you haven't tried them though! i think the fish n chips stole the spotlight so all other seafood dishes paled in comparison for me.
The mango / pineapple use as gravy in this dish wasn’t so good. It wasn’t
very fresh - although looks fine in pic. 😅😅 personally I feel there’s better version of mock-crab meat, so I wouldn’t rate this high.
Fantastic fishless fillets without the fishiness, tastes like fish though the texture is closer to
a fishstick. Great with some lemon juice 🍋
