No complains because they actually made vegan fish and chips that’s close to the real

stuff?!?!?!?! I’ve tried many vegan fish and chips, NONE of them is as close as the authentic British style fish & chips.

The presence of mushy peas, yassss 💯

First time having vegan fish and chips! nice dish that comes with tar tar

sauce and another green sauce (which tasted interesting) ◡̈

Just as I had gotten around to approaching Green Common in my backlog, they close

down 😭 I’ll never forget the first bite I had from them 🥲 Even with the delivery time, everything was still in peak condition and #ecopackaging

This was among @dafnelately’s most frequent orders that I absolutely had to try 😌 and it made sense 😛 The #veganfish at work here is, in fact, OmniFoods ! It was all just #deepfried to golden perfection 🥹 The insides were just so believable they’d surely fool the omni— oh my gosh I get the name now! 🤣 It wasn’t very salty like most #fishandchips I’ve encountered but i like less salt anyway. The #fries were a little more dry in mouthfeel to my liking but I think it was probably just the type of potato. The texture was still 10/10 though 😋 I don’t even like #tartarsauce but this one worked for me 😮 especially with the other green sauce I wasn’t sure of but maybe some kind of guac?

$16 is not the worst for #fish and #chips especially considering the quality!

This is the first time I’m experiencing the loss of a beloved dining option 🥺 #saveveganrestaurants

This is my go-to dish either for recommending someone a dish from Green Common or

if I need something super-filling. To my omnivore friends, their opinions have been receptive and accepting of Omnimeats after trying this fried “fish” fillets, and they usually find the serving size to be very generous and worth. Crispy battered exterior, juicy and soft meaty texture within. There are 3 huge sizes of these fried fillets, and I tend to feel as though I had a bit too much of the same thing after the second fillet. Nonetheless, its always a good recommendation if you hadn’t tried it before, and does show how far and well alternative proteins/meats have come. Also, the fries!!! Thick and potatoey and yums :)

Green Common has a lot of wonderful dishes to offer, so I personally wouldn't recommend

this dish. The Omni fish fillet doesn't have enough flavour to make up for the simple list of ingredients, and the dish is lacking salt. Fries and tartar sauce were amazing though, and the crunchy batter on the fish was *chef's kiss*.

The fish was nice and crisp - and tasted like fish. Chips were alright. The

sauce was good but didn’t like the pea spread that came with it. Overall, I would have preferred a wholefood option like tofu or banana blossom! Felt too processed.

my first time having vegan fish! texture wise, it felt like it really resembled fish

to me but then the smell of the omni meat was a bit too overpowering for me to enjoy the dish without dousing it in tartar sauce. my non vegan companion said it tasted like fish cake which was true to an extent too 😂 portion size was very generous and I was very full!

The previous version used to be made with Gardein fishless fillet. Now made with a generous

serving of Omni golden fillet! Served with smashed peas, housemade tartar sauce, and fries. Would have liked a small side salad. (*Contains alliums) ($16)

Golden Fish Fillet from Omni is a very good version. Very generous in portion

size. Hope it comes with a small salad side but I guess they want to be true to “Fish n Chips” 😁

This is so good! Would recommend! Fish is good. Fries and dip too. Love it
